DANIEL SEYMOUR

Violinist

Originally from Orlando, Florida, Daniel Seymour, violinist based in Newark, Delaware, has performed in several major cities, including New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Chicago and Orlando. These appearances include Carnegie Hall, Dr. Phillips Center and Strathmore Music Center, performing alongside world renowned artists such as Andrea Bocelli and Emanuel Ax. During the summer of 2023, he traveled internationally to Brazil, performing in several cities with orchestra during the Música na Serra and Música no Mar de Minas festivals. In the Fall of 2023, he earned a core position with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. This 2023-2024 season, he performs with the Mount Vernon Virtuosi and Symphony in C.
Seymour studied violin performance at the University of Central Florida under Dr. Ayako Yonetani. He furthered his education at the University of Delaware under Xiang Gao, obtaining his Master of Music on full scholarship. At both institutions, he distinguished himself as Concertmaster of the university orchestras.
Seymour has performed with several orchestras, including Bach Festival Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, Maryland Lyric Opera, Villages Philharmonic, Space Coast Symphony, Gulf Shore Opera, and Riverside Chamber Orchestra. He also performs a diverse genre of music regularly with the Philadelphia String Quartet, String Poets and Alarcon Music Studios.
